The YPA Conference is a two day theatrical experience being held April 30-May 1 that affords performing artists from the Academy Encore Ensemble Theatre Company the opportunity to delve into the professional world of Broadway and musical theatre through talkbacks, performances, and an adjudicated competition and showcase of solo, duet, small ensemble and large ensemble work. YPA gives each individual performing artist the opportunity to better understand their own skill level and personal commitment and to give them an education and glimpse into the "real world" of theatre and of life. It is an intense "invitation only" conference to further the performing artist’s individual growth and development and to give them another opportunity to grow and showcase their craft to true theatre professionals in New York City, the theatre capitol of the world.
